Tree Surgery
We provide a comprehensive range of tree surgery and contracting services. Having applied to become an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor we will possess all relevant industry certifications and accreditations and are fully insured.
Pruning, felling, stump grinding and dismantling services are all available and we work closely with local authorities checking for Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s) and conservation area status. We are always happy to meet local Tree Officers on site to establish permitted scope of work.
Tree Inspections
Whether the instruction is a single tree in a garden, a mortgage report, a development site or a new settlement that needs a full arboricultural report for a planning application we can provide a solution.
An initial Tree Survey of the site will be undertaken grading trees and other vegetation according to condition and prospective longevity. Dangerous trees or those with a very short life expectancy are normally recommended for removal, with the remaining trees graded as high, moderate or low quality.
Reports
A Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) is a non invasive method of examining the health and structural condition of individual trees. The assessment provides information on the condition of the roots, trunk, main branch structure, crown, buds and leaves together providing an assessment of general tree health and vitality. Basic decay detection tools such as percussion may be utilised to determine whether further investigation is required using more invasive methods.

Stump Removal
Tree stumps can be left in the ground after felling but this can lead to problems with suckering where new shoots arise from the trunk and roots.
We offer a professional tree stump removal service using modern and efficient machinery with any size of Tree Stump ground out with minimum ground disturbance.
Alternatively if you need to remove a tree stump and aren’t in a big hurry to do so, chemical stump removal may be a viable option. Because it is a more economical way to go, chemical stump removal is also suitable for people who need to remove several tree stumps.
