Hydroseeding

Kent Services offers specialist hydroseeding (also known as hydraulic mulch seeding or hydro-mulching) to quickly establish vegetation on challenging or large-scale sites. Hydroseeding is a planting process that sprays a specially mixed slurry mixture of water, seeds, mulch, and fertilizer onto prepared ground.

This technique is a cost-effective means of quickly establishing plants and is an ideal solution for erosion control, especially on construction sites, slopes and embankments. We use truck or tractor mounted tanks with high pressure hoses to broadcast a variety of seed mixtures based upon the individual project or site-specific environmental requirements.

With expertise in agronomy and ecology, the Kent Services team will manage the project from start to finish and include ongoing site maintenance. We will assess your site and advise on the most suitable planting scheme and seed mix, including grasses, wildflower, tree and shrub, sedum, or bespoke blends. Where we ae undertaking your landscaping project as a whole, we will combine hydroseeding with other planting and vegetation, including individual specimen trees to full-scale planting schemes.
