Invasive Weed Control

Kent Services offers specialist invasive weed control across the Midlands region, targeting high-impact species such as Japanese knotweed, giant hogweed, and Himalayan balsam. As members of the Invasive Non-Native Specialists Association (INNSA) you are assured of our expertise in controlling and eradicating invasive non-native species.

We also help control notifiable weeds such as ragwort, thistles & docks. Injurious weeds must be controlled to prevent them from spreading to neighbouring land, especially pasture or land used for hay/silage. Failure to control these weeds can result in enforcement notices being issued.

We begin with a detailed site survey to assess the situation, then advise our clients on the best course of action. Understanding the potential harm that can be caused by invasive species is integral to our work, whether the plant may cause ecological disruption, or structural damage to property.

Our fully accredited team delivers robust, legally compliant solutions to give you added peace of mind. We will recommend a treatment plan which could combine scientifically proven methods such as herbicides, containment or physical removal (with disposal in licensed facilities in accordance with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and Environmental Protection Act 1990.) If required, we will design an ongoing monitoring plan to prevent any future impact.
