Housing Development Common Areas & Playgrounds

We are proud to work in partnership with a number of national developers in providing a full design, management and maintenance service for shared outdoor spaces on housing developments, including communal gardens, courtyards, play areas and open green spaces.

The team at Kent Services have extensive knowledge and experience in advising construction teams on managing green field development, especially where there are ecological constraints.

From auditing and assessing local wildlife and eco systems, we can assist developers in careful land management and landscaping, with safe ongoing work as the project progresses. This may include installation of wildlife friendly fencing to protect areas during the construction phase, to advising on tree or hedgerow removal and sustainable re-planting schemes.

Once projects are completed, we undertake ongoing management and maintenance as required, with services including regular litter picking, dog poo bins, grass cutting, hedge and shrub maintenance, planting, sweeping, weed control and surface cleaning to keep areas clean, attractive and safe for residents and visitors.

For playgrounds and recreational facilities, our trained teams undertake routine inspections, safety checks and minor repairs to surfacing, equipment and fencing. When required we can arrange for ROSPA inspections to meet compliance and other relevant safety standards. All works are planned to minimise disruption to residents and are performed by insured, DBS-checked operatives using environmentally responsible methods.
