Weed Control

Physical Control – by hand roguing, hoeing out or strimming off as appropriate. Flamegun treatment is available in hard stoned areas.

Chemical Control – using our quadbike spray rig, tractor driven equipment or pedestrian knapsack sprayers. Granular application from pedestrian and towed spinners.

Biological Controls – where environmentally friendly techniques are used which reduce possible ecological damage which may occur with other techniques.

The use of appropriate ground cover planting to stabilise loose ground, and deter weed infiltration.

The use of mulches and membranes to prevent weed seeds germinating in open ground or in firebreaks.

Staff are trained and certificated to National Proficiency Tests Certification and are kept up to date with product development and legislation.
